MEET ABBY GREENSFELDER
Founder & CEO, Everywoman Studios
Meet Abby Greensfelder, the founder and CEO of Everywoman Studios, a trailblazing media company dedicated to telling female-driven stories that inspire positive cultural change. Drawing on her extensive experience as a network executive and production company leader, Greensfelder launched Everywoman to address the gender gap in the entertainment industry. The studio’s projects, including the Emmy-nominated documentary LFG—which spotlights the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team’s fight for equal pay—exemplify its commitment to high-quality, impactful storytelling. In addition to its robust slate of films and series, Everywoman runs “Propelle,” an accelerator program for women creators that has helped bring groundbreaking projects like Prisoner of the Prophet to life. Before founding Everywoman Studios, Greensfelder co-founded Half Yard Productions, the acclaimed production company behind Say Yes to the Dress, How the States Got Their Shapes, and The Last Alaskans. She also served as senior vice president of programming and development for Discovery Channel, where she oversaw iconic shows such as Deadliest Catch and Planet Earth. A Yale graduate with an MBA from Wharton, Greensfelder is a recognized leader in media and a dedicated advocate for gender equity. At FUTURE NOW, we believe in the power of mentorship and the vital role it can play in one's personal and professional growth and development, and we are thrilled to launch the sixth year of the FUTURE NOW Mentoring Program!
This program is open to FUTURE NOW alumni only, who have attended the FUTURE NOW Media & Entertainment Conference. We select the top twenty (20) applicants for the nine-month-long program, which begins in September and concludes in May. Each of the twenty (20) mentees are matched with a mentor from the industry, based on their mutual interests and goals.
Applications for the 2024 - 2025 FUTURE NOW Mentoring Class are now closed.
